"When I brought my dog, Cole, a rescue, to Diane a few months ago, he was a tightly wound ball of stress ready to jump at any unexpected noise or object, lashing out at both people and animals that passed us by on walks, grumpily tolerating the dogs that had once been his friends at daycare, and was generally unhappy. Diane quickly recognized the issues and developed a plan specifically tailored to help Cole overcome his challenges and return to a happier, healthier, and more well socialized state.
After just a few weeks, I started noticing differences in the dog that multiple previous dog therapists and dog psychologists told me should be put down or given away. Now, a few months into working with Diane, I am getting rave reviews from the daycare Cole goes to, which is telling me that Cole is acting like a puppy again, wagging his tail and playing with other dogs, playing tug of war with other dogs, and generally acting happy and relaxed. I can't thank Diane enough for helping Cole find a way to realize that life (including the dogs and people he meets along the way) is something to be enjoyed." - Courtney H. |
