Canine Natural Medicine is just that - Natural Medicine - natura medicinia - or the essential qualities or innate disposition of the art of healing. It is comprehensive in it's simplicity, and I use it in every one of my consultations. My client may have called about a nutrition consultation, a swim session, a behavior issue, or chronic disease resolution. Doesn't matter, what they come here for, in the end we talk about the whole. The whole dog, the whole family, the whole medicine that nature provides. I am fortunate enough to work with several veterinarians, both in their clinics and here at the farm. The combination of our medicines invariably allows a larger and more complete level of health to arrive, that is, if the human companion is compliant. Learning from the Chinese and Japanese Masters, the Cherokee, the Tibetan nomads, it soon became apparent to me, that all animals, wild, domesticated, and the human animal are not so separate after all. Scientists have recently recorded animals performing actions that unquestionably look like self-medication. We can no longer dismiss what this may mean in a wider context to not only their health but ours. More often than not my consultations result in one or two very simple introductions or changes toward balance and health. If I could wish for one thing, it would be that I was able to intervene sooner than later. Or as a colleague of mine says, " Don't wait till the house is on fire, call me when you see smoke". My work each day is in honor of and with deepest respect to Juliette de Baracli Levy. "I ask you neither to believe me nor to condemn my treatments until you try them. My purpose is to save your dog, who should not be denied his chance of Nature's remedies by the prejudices of his owners." - Juliette de Bairacli Levy |
